No more SM-Who?

We may not get the best treatment from Pollsters but at least they know who we are.

Throughout the entire Godfather era we have and continue to build credibilty with BOTH press and the college hoops public. I look forward to the day when the words " perennial power" proceed SMU.

as of 1-25-2016: AP #13. The loss to Temple was not seen as a good loss. Nevertheless, we are in good company in AP10-15.

Most votes at any spot was at 15, but we had enough points for people voting us higher to be at 13.

Not bad, actually much better than I thought it would be given the 11-7 Owl's. There were a few votes for 6 & 7 ... that would have been interesting to have lost to Temple and move up. Very hard to run the tables ... in anything, pee-wee football and up. Now we can get that off our minds and focus on finishing strong and the season title. While Dickie "V" had us at 19 this week, he also had us at #7 the week we came out at #8.

Between the hiring of Larry, the snub on the cbs selection show, the goaltend, and the probation. Anyone who has followed college basketball even as a casual fan over the last three years knows about SMU.

I ran the table at the family picnic ping pong tournament. No one else knew it was a tournament and that I was doing brackets in my head. Surprisingly my great Aunt was the conference champion of the "My Mother's Side" conference but it was pretty weak to begin with. I had a harder road to the finals to get through both my dad and his oldest brother in the divisional rounds.

Let's just say my tiebreaker practice helped me win the RedSolo Cup.
