Mouthy Ref

Postby gostangs » Sun Nov 22, 2015 10:10 pm

Did anyone else think is was weird/troubling that the short ref was mouthing with Nic very aggressively right before his free throws late in the second half? Was critical FT (that he then missed). Either make a call or not, but no need to be aggressively lecturing our player at a critical time of the game. That could have been a much bigger issue with a stronger opponent.

Was it the terrible ref? Making calls when on the other side of the court etc

Did anyone see the ref glaring at the courtside seats late? It was bizarre and hilarious

Not arguing the flagrant (although he went for the ball bc he hit it and he didnt mean to hit him with the ball)... outside of that call he was still terrible. It seems like every group has one that either hates us or has no idea what he is doing.

I thought that was a good, hard foul. He got a lot of the ball.

yeah - he was getting an earful down there i would guess.

not so sure on the flagrant - he was making a play on the ball, and the guy fell awkward which made it seem like he got chopped down.

It was a hard foul, but I agree he got the ball. I think that's why he wasn't run.

That foul got the crowd going. Everyone was into it after that, I'd argue may have even won us the game. Total turning point

Yeah, what happened there? First I thought that the fan was standing and bumped him, but the ref gave him the death stare, thought he was going to T up the crowd. Anyone know who sits there? Just south of the tv table.
