I liked what I saw of Bennett. He has a very mature body for his age, good quickness and ball handling skills. His 3 point shots were not falling but his shooting form looked pretty good. He isn't getting alot of minutes for the Texas Select team, but the upside appears to be there. Only negative comment I would make is he tends to look over at the bench alot and he pouted a little bit when he didnt get a call from the ref instead of getting back on defense. Looks coachable though. He should be a good one for SMU.

I was in Memphis last week for the national AAU tourney and a player from Austin Paey noticed my SMU shirt, stopped me to talk and asked if I had seen Demetric play.

He said Demetric is a very nice player and should do well at SMU. Plays for a good program in Georgia.

HF, I noticed in the paper that J.J. Redick didn't score for Team USA. Are they that deep? Redick was a very solid freshman for Duke last year.

The Duke fans were saying he had a sore hamstring.

He is getting over an injury!
