It would be great if some of the students could make a sign or something saying farewell to Pastner. Something sarcastically that we'll miss him or something when he's gone after this season. Although maybe it will be sincere...we have loved playing Memphis at Moody while Pastner has been coach

The picture with KF since neither will ever be back at Moody.

I love Pastner. He really puts on a show with his fits. I will be sad when he is gone.

Believe he was referring to the photo of Frazier and Pastner.

Pastner's farewell tour isn't going to be this year, it's going to be next year. The Memphis AD, Tom Bown, gave him an insane contract that would cost Memphis ten million just to fire him. Memphis doesn't have it, especially at a time when they are showing signs of life in football and are doing the best they can to help out the recent success.
I say he's back next year.

$7.5M, I believe. As I understand it, there is no buyout clause, and they have to pay him his full $2.5M salary until completion of it four years from now.
Problem is, attendance is dropping like a rock. When Pastner took over Memphis was in the top five nationally in attendance in an NBA arena. Attendance has dropped by a third or so since then. So it becomes a question of where does Memphis want to lose money it doesn't have.
