Tolbert Slump?

Postby Duke Blue Blood » Sun Jan 31, 2016 4:43 pm

Compared to the first 15+ Games, Jordan was an absolute beast and was very reliable for points. He however is not picking up some of the "trash" points he has been getting in earlier games. I can't tell that teams are playing any different defense on him either. Working hard in the paint, just seems like he is coming up every so slightly short on some of his shots.

Obviously still love his game, just trying to figure out why he has had some uncharacteristic showings. Yes, well aware players can have bad games.

He was 3-10 against Memphis with 14 Rebounds

He was 7-9 against Temple (obviously excellent) with 8 Rebounds

He was 3-8 against Houston with 3 Rebounds

you didn't appreciate his shot clock beating trey? He may not be getting 20 boards, but we aren't playing Nichols State or Hampton anymore

We all want to see the lobs to Tolbert and the resulting dunk, but teams have seen the film and are working very hard to avoid being posterized by Mr Tolbert.

Ask my roommate: I've brought up Airplane! (annoyingly so) about 10 times this past week.
