How about an SMU fan wave? Every five minutes or so. It would be pretty funny.

Every time I've watched a Houston game, their arena is 25% capacity at best. I predict the coogs, will be just like every other opponent, and have their biggest and rowdiest crowd for SMU.

Eric's and the UH Hilton is across campus from Hofheinz. You'll probably want to either 1) park in the UH Hilton garage, or visitor parking, and go to the event or 2) park near the arena (probably $5-10) and walk across campus in the daylight. It's a straight shot past the library.

http://www.uh.edu/maps/

Probably quite a few students at that time of night with night classes.

Crowd-wise, I'm hoping it's the second largest crowd of the year between LSU (7918) and UConn (4672). It's hard to tell how many football fans will come over after the Peach Bowl celebration. Usually not that many. Student turnout is the X-factor.

We now have a very nice basketball facility but the arena is still crappy...worse than old Moody. Yes, 50 Pony fans together can make a lot of noise in Hofheinz, unlike visitors in Moody.

Ha, ha, that gave me a nice chuckle. What is everyone supposed to do when the game is over and the sun has set?

:D Find a buddy and run.

I park on the other side of Yates HS for football games so my risk tolerance is fairly high.

Has to be the worst road trip in the conference. Abysmal environment and arena. #Houstontakeover
