Appears that the other teams with some outside chance of giving UConn a battle are all gone. South Carolina, Tennessee, Stanford and ND all had the talent and depth to challenge. Alas, they are gone.

UConn's dominance is amazing. Geno could probably lose 2 starters before anyone else could be competitive.

There is very little guess work in why UCONN is great. They spend big money on the sport, unlike all but 3 or 4 other programs in America. this isn't like the men's game.

UCONN has 11 titles because of Geno period. He built that program from nothing with a system and spending money didn't win all of those titles.
