On one hand, we're losing the guy who was our floor general for three seasons and one of the most electrifying players in the nation; on the other we'll return three guys who averaged in double figures last year. I think it may take a few games for everything to get clicking and the staff to figure out which rotations work best...I expect this team to really get going around January and February. We weren't ranked at the beginning of last season either, and we were up to #8 by the time we lost to Temple. Take these preseason rankings with a massive grain of salt

Preseason ranking are usually not worth the paper they are written on.
(or the screens that illuminate them.)

It will take us a few games to come together. We will miss Nic and MKI and JT,
especially Nic; but it will work out differently for us. We will be a different team and
it will be fun to see if we are even better given some time.
