That's what killed everybody about Pastner - he HAD players. Even after the graduations and transfers the roster is still loaded with 4 stars - the Lawson kids, Marshall, Craft. If the new coach manages to somehow hang on to Woodson, keep hold of the recruit they just lost and sign one or two more players then Memphis is relevant right now.

That is, if he can actually coach, they are.

Charlie Moore would definitely be the change of pace PG everyone wants. Supposedly he is unbelievably fast and Chicago tough. Adding Moore to this class would be insane. Our staff is amazing.

Gotta believe adding Moore would give us a top 5 class.

According to the 247 class calculator we would move from 15th to 13th. They say he would be the 2nd best player in the class behind Kapita.

That change of pace guard would really help next year.

So for clarity is Wilson a PG or SG or a combo? just curious because I expected him to get some of the back up PG minutes next year.

Also if you were an undersized guard how could you not want to play for LB. Look what he has done with people like that.

Well...I guess Wilson thinks of himself as a PG:

"The staff sold Wilson on his ability to grow and develop under Brown and Tim Jankovich’s tutelage. SMU point guard Nic Moore talked with Wilson about what it’s like to play under Brown.
“Nic Moore came out for lunch with me and it was great to talk with him. Obviously with him being a point and myself being a point it was just really cool to talk with him.”

....from a Billy Embody story.
