Agree 1,000%. This is factual fwiw. He's a good player, Grandstaff will be fine wherever he lands. Just needs to wrap up his tools a little better next time. Not a bad kid, just trying to do what's right for his kid and in the process, effin up his reputation. Got no ill will towards him and I'm a fan of a program he left. Feel like that should say enough.

Btw, hope all is well for everyone over here. Been crazy busy coaching bball lately. AAU, clinics and camps are killing my time. Thinking about making a jump here to a B10 job though, just not sure I have the hours to put in at D1 bball program.

Why did he not end up at SMU? I thought he visited after he left Ohio St.

It now seems the son was being used as an excuse. How can you say you didn't realize to be a good father you need to be closer to home, then go off to DePaul?!?

Makes absolutely no sense, unless his baby mama is moving to Illinois with his son.

I don't think we ever seriously considered the guy. We'd be looking for a Big Man or PG

He won't last here either. He is a head case - like father, like son.

Didn't we have a slew of QBs during the Caven/Bennett/Jones era do similar college swapping?
