Viva Italia and Nic!

More info about Enel Brindisi:

Evidently they sell out their games (3,500) and are getting a renovated arena this next year that will up capacity to 6k. Nic should feel right at home.

Scottie Reynolds of Villanova is current PG according to site...

Chao.

Explain a little about this to this old uninformed fat man. Does he continue with the summer league for now or is he overseas immediately. Is this better than the summer league gig? I am not sure how all of this works.

Good move, he will make more there than he would in the d-league...

Just watch your back in Brindisi. It's beautiful (right on the Adriatic Sea) but rough. The mob runs things there.

i see Nic fitting right in when it comes to Italy. He is smart but laid back.

Do they ever announce amounts? Hope he gets a nice check - he has earned it.

Good thing Nic has connections with the Godfather.

From those I know who played over there it's usually in the $200k range, but obviously can vary quite a lot. They have caps for the number of American players and reserve big chunks of their spending for them.

They usually get their housing and meal allowance paid as well.

Jank brought Nic (or the other way?) to Dallas and an amazing college career. Nic is more off to a great basketball and life experience, still has a great relationship with the staff, and can talk up SMU to the euro kids. Great all around...and hopefully it turns into a pit stop before Nic finds his NBA spot.
