when you add in the late Baylor signees-he may have had the best recruiting class in the country. Definitely Top 5. Prior year closed strong at about No. 8.

Where is Rebel10? He said Smart wouldn't last a year at UT.....

I never said he would not last a year. After reading the UT boards after they hired him following Strong I said that he would be on the hotseat (like Strong is) if he did not have a good year. He had a good year and I am glad he got an extension and I hope he continues on because imo if he slips one year he could be on the hotseat. Again, basing my opinion on reading the UT board when they hired him.

If that's the case, their basketball coach has been on the hot seat every year since 1906 because they've never won a national championship.
