whats the line tonight? Usually a good...

indicator. Don't know if we are strong enough and fast enough to hang with Tech. Need to shoot well 45%+ and limit turnovers to 10 or less to have a chance to win.

TT favored by 6.

Got my baseline seat for $4. How crazy does that make the TT fans who are going to shell out 26 or 47 bucks a pop?

$4? Did I miss something? Also somebody said they were taking out press row and making those seats available for sale. Anybody know the deal?

As a football season ticket holder I got my basketball season ticket for half price. Each seat is a tad over 4 bucks for each game.

Yeah, the deal is they took out press row and made those seats available for sale. Half the press table is gone, and they put folding seats in their place. Those are for the people who come to be seen in the front row, instead of coming to see the game, since the view is kind of crappy from there. Its a smart move, if SMU fans are willing to pay extra for anything in this world its useless status symbols. It'll probably generate a couple thousand extra bucks.

As for Nacho, he's probably exaggerating. He was always a rotten kid.

Uncle Morty I come to you with all the humility of a TCU fan. I'm sure we can work out our differences. Like I was telling Anna Nicle the other night Uncle Mort isn't a bad guy, he's rich. BTW tis true that my ticket is $4--possibly the only time in my life that I paid less than retail at SMU.

I'm a football season ticket sucker, er I mean holder. Never heard of any half price deal. Uncle Mort- as for the front row, I disagree. Are you telling me the players who sit on the bench don't have a good view of the action? You might not see the whole court, but those are great seats. You can tell how good the athletes really are from there. And no one, I repeat no one, goes to an SMU game to be seen. Thats part of the problem these days.

I think they gave the half price deal to consistently positive posters on Ponyfans. Since I was by far the most optimistic poster on the football board this year they gave me a special deal. I feel quite certain about this. It could have had something to do with buying the ticket at the last possible second but I choose to believe it was my winning personality.

How are ticket sales going for the game. Anybody know? Sellout would be nice.

I haven't heard any promotion of the game, so I'm doubting a sellout very seriously, especially at those prices. But thats good, we have a better chance to win if its not 5,000 Tech fans against 4,000 meek Mustang fans. I hope the prices discourage the Techsters so they bring 3000 tops. I don't care about our budget, I'm a fan, I want a win. Moody is great with a crowd of 7k anyway.
