I'm not as enamored with rankings. I hope the power forwards we have continue to grow.

This isn't a homerun class, but this is a good core class that is good for Jank's first cycle. It will likely end up ranked around 35-40. If we can win this year our classes will keep going up. Douglas was a late blooming 4-Star, I wouldn't be surprised if he kept moving up. Really like his game. Chargois isn't going to be a star, but will be a good contributor and had nice final 4. Everett Ray is really the question mark. Another late bloomer who looks to be a real solid athlete (kind of like Ben Moore can play 3/4) with a nice shot, will just be interesting to see if he is just a contributor or can have the ceiling of being a big time player. Hard to tell with the level of competition Ray is playing against.

Read that Chargois had a big day overall at Elite 14. Especially shooting. Looked great in the pick and pop.

Read Everett Ray looked like a monster on the glass and looks much bigger/stronger. Didn't hear about him offensively. Heard Landrum looked real good in some games and up & down in others, but showed good range from 3 and great athleticism (as we've seen in some of his dunks).

Video has multiple Players, but has two Landrum dunks and a pull-up 3. Chargois dunk and Chargois Pick and Pop:

Our guards played in high school as point guards/combo guards. I'm not worried about the 1 or 2 position

Our power forward and center positions are what I'm worried about. Next year, Froling will be the only upperclassman at those positions if Semi leaves.

I think we are all looking forward to this year and all can't wait for the season to start, but we can still talk about future worries/how we are gonna look down the line. Enjoy the present, but plan for the future.

We could lose Shake and/or Semi which one would be a tough loss but both would make next year a tough year. Too early to know on either one yet. Front court without Semi though would give me more worries. Would be relying heavily on two frosh. Would likely need to go find a grad transfer. At PG we could use a combo of best two of Wilson, McDowell & Jimmy Whitt. Also, have Landrum depending on how he adjusts.

You do realize things like that happen every year don't you? Why aren't we worried about 2020? And you do realize you can do nothing about any of it don't you? Take some time to enjoy what we have.

Also it's not our job to plan for the future. We have absolutely no control. So enjoy the ride.

If we become an elite program, which we are well on our way to becoming, we are going to lose important guys every year. That's part of it. Recruit, reload and next guy up every year.

We are all mustangs who are excited for the present and the future.
