OOC: 8-3
Conference: 13-5

Conference Tourney: We win in Hartford AGAIN

NCAA: Sweet 16

February is a tough month. At Tulsa, At Temple, Cincy and Tulane at Home then Houston and UCONN on the road. If we are healthy with a full roster available through that stretch we come out of it ready to go undefeated in March as deep as our talent will take us. It could be deeper than sweet 16.

So no good road wins this year?

I think we will win at USC or Boise State and I think we will split the neutral games at MSG. We don't have too many non-conference games away from Moody. If you look at each game individually I think we should win them all, but collectively I think it is reasonable to expect the team to slip up here and there. My predictions are fairly conservative given that we don't really know what to expect from some of our key contributors in Semi, Emelogu, and the freshmen. I think we should be able to steal 1 or 2 of the road conference games I marked as losses but we shall see. I definitely expect at least 25 wins by selection Sunday, which should be enough to have us comfortably in the field of 68.

OOC: 11-2 (go 1-1 in New York)

Conference: Torn between 14-4 (13-5). I'm going with 14-4 but we have a few tough conference stretches. Win either Regualr season title or Confrence Tourney.

Tourney: Sweet 16. If we get the right draw could go Elite 8.

Semi and Shake both go pro after 1st All-Confrence seasons and Semi is Conference POY (after UT scrimmage and what I've heard he will dominate)

this team has enough talent to win 20 games and play in the post season. Where and how far they will go is going to be fun to watch this year

FYI - KenPom has us going 22-8 (12-6) in conference.

UCONN 20-8 (13-5)
CINCI 23-7 (14-4)
UH 18-11 (10-8)
Memphis 18-12 (10-8)

after a disappointing year, we really need the AAC to step up and make some noise in the post season. Hopefully we get 5-6 teams into the NCAA/NIT and actually win some games

It starts with OOC...we really could use early season meaningful wins from top to bottom of the conference.
We'll pull up the conference by improving top to bottom. Unfortunately that is going to be a tall order. Not looking for teams like ECU and Tulane to rip ranked teams, simply win when they are supposed to and a good share of their toss up OOC's.

3rd place in conference if Semi is not all-conference.

I predict Semi will be all-conference. In which case, SMU has 4 future NBA players in the starting lineup, wins conference and goes to the sweet 16.
