I am getting this bad feeling we are going to get matched with Arkansas. They are up and down this year but can shoot threes well plus have a good big man. We should beat them but I just do not want it.

If we win out it seems a 4 seed is likely.

Looking at the 11-12 seeds as long as we dont get Syracuse in the first round I don't mind our matchup. Syracuse has a knack for getting hot this time of year and has some big wins. I think if we win out including the conference tourney then Lundardi would have us as a 4, but wouldn't be shocked if the committee gave us a 5.

yes, definitely in Lunardi's bracket. But for the selection committee, a 4 seed in Lunardi's means an 8 seed for SMU. Not getting my hopes up. Look at the bright side, a 7-10 seed will most likely be playing in Tulsa

Same state, but Los Angeles is almost 400 miles from Sacramento. They aren't THAT popular.

I would say possible but unlikely.

On the bright side if we did unfortunately lose to Syracuse we would at least know it would be vacated in a few years

Sadly, I only see two other teams in the Tourney that we have played, UC and USC. I think our schedule hurts our chances of a better seed.

Boise has a puncher's chance. Don't be surprised if Michigan gets in there as well.

Wouldn't be surprised if Michigan got in, and TCU is in right now. They are right on the bubble.

Michigan in a 9 seed in Lunardi's latest projection.
TCU is in the play-in game.

Would you rather be a 7 seed in Tulsa and play a team like Baylor, where # of fans is pretty equal- or for example, be a 6 seed in Orlando and play a little lower quality team like Florida, but basically playing a road game?

Give me the 7 seed in Tulsa. Location has a big impact in college basketball.
