Luckily those are the doormats, besides Temple. If UCONN loses tonight though..

I'll admit I'm worried about UCF. The improvement of Tacko from last year to now is scary. His conditioning is better and he is figuring it out. If you haven't seen hin play this year just watch ESPN's highlights of their game yesterday against Miss St.

My fear is that he is going to get Semi and/or Ben in foul trouble as they try to muscle him away from the rim. Our foreign posts are going to have to play big minutes against him. Once he catches in the low post, he's virtually impossible to stop. He's going to spell real trouble for opponents if he stays at UCF 4 years. You simply can't coach height like he has!

UCF advances to championship game in Charleston Classic against Nova. Talk about a measuring stick game! Meanwhile, Cincy plays Rhode Island today in a game that could really help the AAC's RPI

Rhode Island beat Cincy 76-71 so not a good weekend for the AAC so far. At least Memphis handled Savannah State and Tulsa on the verge of winning their 1st game

Us and Cincy have a couple big chances for wins against USC, Stanford, ISU, Xavier and Butler. Need a few wins. Would have been nice if Cincy could beat RIU. The league looks like a 2 bid league right now.

Let's take care of business with UC Santa Barbara first.

can't sleep on UCF and Tacko Fall this year. The guy is a load. UCF lost to Villanova in the Charleston Classic by 10 points, but in 3 tournament games, Fall hit 26-31 FG (mostly dunks and/or drop ins), cleared 34 boards and blocked and/or altered I don't know how many shots. They could contend in the AAC this year and watch out going forward as Fall continues to improve

UCONN's best player Larrier averaging 16 ppg looks like he suffered a significant knee injury-hopping back to the dressing room

UCONN just missed back to back dunk attempts. Enoch then Purvis. They can't seem to do anything right.
