Absolutely terrible. Now I know how Memphis must have felt back in the C-USA days when we were losing to the likes of USC Upstate.

NE tried to give it to UConn but could not. Ollie has to be in trouble.

The difference is Memphis was surrounded by a bunch of traditional losers. We are in a league with many tradition rich basketball schools including UCONN, Cincinnati, Memphis, and Temple.

What is the upside in firing him now? Let him sink or swim this season. If they make the NCAA tournament he holds on for another year. Would be funny to see Larry brown replace him.

True but some of these traditional rich programs are losing games that should never happen. I bet this puts Fran on the hot seat, too.

@JonRothstein
The American Athletic Conference is already pushing a boulder up a hill. And it's only November 14th. League is stubbing its toe at will.

Yep. Getting good KenPom or RPI wins in conference to get in the Tourney or get a good seed are looking slim. Looks like Cincy is the only team that might carry some weight there. Hopefully a few other teams circle the wagons in OOC play.

UConn needs to get it together quickly. They still have games with Syracuse, Georgetown, Okla State, Ohio State & Auburn so plenty of chances to redeem themselves and the AAC

Or make it even uglier.
