Just need to be reminded if we play a team who played a good team how much that helps us.

Follow that link, scroll to the long table at the bottom and click to sort by future weight. It will tell you how significant every team that we play, or that one or more of our opponents plays, will be to our final RPI.

Whole bunch of teams that are weighted 0.03. Those are teams who play one of our opponents.

Then a bunch at 0.06 who play two of our opponents (or play one of our opponents twice). This is where Wichita state is.

The weightings up through teams that play more of our opponents, then jump a lot to the teams that we actually play.

What you can see is that a lot of teams contribute to RPI but most of them by very little.

Surely there is something better to do in NYC than this though?

I believe most people there grab an early dinner, watch the news at home and get to bed by 10pm. I'm sure that is a close description of smusic's night there last night.

Big win for the conference by UCF! We need all the upsets we can get now that UCONN and Temple have dragged the conference down with bad losses.

UCF and Tacko Fall look much improved thi year. Convincing win against a Miss St program that is usually competitive in the SEC

another bad night for the AAC. Other than the SMU and UCF wins, Charlotte beat ECU, UMass beat Temple, OU beat Tulane and Elon beat USF
