Tulsa and Memphis will come into Moody hungry.

Tulsa has beat us in Moody before. It was our last time to lose in Moody so Tulsa knows it can be done.

Tubby Smith has been around the block and knows how to coach in tough environments.

Before I start wondering who the #1 seed plays, I would make sure we are the #1 seed.

I don't think we lose to Tulsa or Memphis but we are the big boy everyone wants to knock off now.

Tulsa blows. We are not losing to them... especially after last season with them winning here.

Houston has crept on to Lunardi's last four in column. Huge game for them tonight. A win tonight and a spot in the AAC final and I'm not sure how you keep them out.

Houston at Cin tonight - who are we rooting for?

If it is true that Cin is a tourney lock, should we not be pulling for Houston? A 22-8 Houston team with a win over Top 25 Cin would be good - along with winning 9 of last 10 (only loss to SMU) in conference play. Perhaps they need to add one or two Ws in the American tourney.

Also - a Hou win and SMU win tonight and the nets can be cut down at Moody TONIGHT!

BTW - Houston-Cin game should be over at our halftime tonight...

They were next 4 out last night. Did they really jump to last 4 in overnight without playing?

Best case scenario for 3 team bid without undermining our numbers: We want a Cincinnati win tonight and UH to go deep in the AAC Tourney

Not sure that it hurts us if Cin loses to Hou. Just makes the two wins vs. Hou look that much better. Of course we lose our one Top 25 Win when Cin falls out of ranking.

I think the best case for the league would be for:
1) Houston to win tonight plus two games in the conference tournament,
2) SMU to win out in the regular season and 1 or 2 games in the conference tournament,
3) Cincinnati to beat UConn and win their quarterfinal game in the conference tournament,
4) UCF to win the conference tournament

I think that is a path to 4 bids in the NCAA tournament. Of course Houston would be sweating out selection Sunday if UCF gets the auto bid. Take away #4 and have Houston and SMU in the final and I think Houston makes it in either way.

That said, as an SMU fan I say just win them all!

I don't think AP Top 25 record/wins mean much (to the committee), but RPI Top 25 wins certainly do to the committee. Cincy is still 14 in RPI while Houston is 53. So a Cincy loss keeps them RPI top 25 (so we stay 1-1 vs top 25). But assuming a Houston win moves them into the top 50, it would take our top 50 record from 1-3 (USC & Michigan) to 3-3. That is significant and could be the difference in a full seed line, IMO.

I can't stand Houston, but will be pulling for them tonight.

they've always been at "outie" not an "innie."

AAC is a 2 bid league barring an upset in conference tourney. I just hope we have several NIT bids and some of our teams do well there

Tulane has had the first half lead in a lot of games this year but don't have what it takes to finish. I think they have the potential to make a big turnaround next year.
