I'd like Tom and Fro to get real burn. I'd like Ben M and Sterling to step out of the shadows. I thought Sterling would alpha male his way into a lot of aggressive looks this year. Things will be fine, but we more movement and more defense. Prosper
Agreed. Not gonna worry just because of one game. Will know more by after TCU, Boise, USC games. I do agree that we need another offensive/skilled weapon to step up. When it's Shake, Gu, McDowell, Ben, and Semi it's tough to do a lot against a good D, it turns more into one of them trying to go one on one. Jarrey has been stepping up but needs to stop getting in foul trouble. Could really use Froling or Wilson to step up.

My concern watching was our overall lackadaisical nba regular season style defense. I like our team but I wonder if several guys are thinking NBA much more than they are thinking NCAA tournament.

Ben E should quit shooting. He is wasting a possession when he does. Geesh! 2 years and he stil can't score!
Long live Inez Perez!

Not at all imo. They looked fine in the 3 previous games. The team just ran into a juggernaut Michigan team.

Yeah maybe we were just flat on the second half of a back to back. We will beat tcu by 40.

We are going to have a very nice season-win lots of games-keep the momentum going and have a shot at an AAC Championship-we just aren't a Top 25 program as I suspected. I am disappointed at the total breakdown in our signature style of interior unselfish basketball-very disappointed

You can sorta see the sanctions this year. Not bc we aren't good or talented, but bc our depth is effected. If we aren't going to give Fro/Tom burn, we don't have many different looks to throw people.

We were not going to beat Michigan either way. Michigan played back to back as well. I would be very happy if we beat TCU by 40 but I don't see them winning by that much.

Well that was hard to watch. Even WITH them we don't have many looks! I sat with some fairly knowledgeable Michigan folks and even they were blown away at that performance. They did not expect that either. You shoot almost 60 percent and play D that holds your opponent at 35 or so you win by 24 every time. More later. Drinkin. And yeah. I love these guys. The sun will rise tomorrow.

It's one game, and I agree it sucked. But, I loved the intensity of these young men to the end of the game. Michigan had luck, talent, and 3 crappy refs on their side. Jarray has the talent to become our floor general if he wants to step up. Next game - let's rock and roll and PonyUp!

The bald ref really irritated me. He swallowed his whistle on way too many drives. When he wasn't on the baseline the shorter ref called all the fouls. He was the wrong guy for our game plan tonight.

We didn't lose the game because of the refs.

How could they have had the game circled when they did not know if we would get past Pitt or if the world get past Marquette.

I thought on most drives to the basket SMU just got stuffed by taller defenders-where was the extra pass. Didn't really have a problem with refs that much. I was more upset with SMU players for forcing bad plays

Look at the shooting percentages all around. We had a bad game all around. Need to move on. Plenty of ball left to play.
