Homeschooling mostly. Late bloomer so interest in him by bigger schools hadn't developed. Those home school teams can have some pretty bad mismatches depending on scheduling. Haven't heard that much from AAU other than what was mentioned on this thread regarding his performance at GASO

Yeah outside of those two AAU tourney's I posted I didnt hear much about him on the circuit. Some of those matchups can be bad at homeschool. He is a Universal Academy now and they seems to play a much better mix of schools than he did playing for Homeschool (CHANT).

He is definitely a late bloomer so a bit unknown, but is on the presason all DFW team with RJ Nembhard, Marcus Garrett, Cj Roberts, TJ Starks and Drew Timme. And all of the recent stuff I have seen talks about how he is a skilled offensive player, who has a great motor, has really gotten strong where he can hang in the post and is a great rebounder. I like what i've been hearing and Hoopmanx is high on him & has a good trainer.

Definitely a late riser/bloomer, but sometimes those guys end up being the best and have the highest ceiling. We will find out next year, but sounds like he could give us some solid minutes off the bench next year with his athleticism, high motor, and strong frame.

Home school leagues and scheduling are hit and miss, no doubt. Justin Jackson at UNC played elite comp when playing w his homeschool team and Universal plays a solid schedule. In terms of AAU, I could be wrong, but since Ray effectively stayed back, he was possibly treated like an unsigned senior, and could only run in the spring, not July. No idea if that was the case though. Had he not signed early, he'd have been a huge commodity in spring

On a different note does UA post stats or game results anywhere? Haven't seen much about him since start of the year.
