App state ball with 12 seconds left. Isham had a three ball blocked.
Do you want to step outside and settle this now?

Isham fouls out at the 10 second mark. First free throw good, now 83-80, second shot good. Bhop on the line with three with 3 seconds left.
First FT good, second is no good, third is good. Now 84-82 App

BRING BACK THE GLORY DAYS OF SMU FOOTBALL!!!

For some strange reason, one of the few universities that REFUSE to use their school colors: Harvard Crimson & Yale Blue.

this was obviously a VERY disappointing loss. Someone who was there can comment on whether we played poor defense tonight or what. We shot well and still lose. Blew an 11 pt lead.

Dement's comments were that App St had the attitude on the boards that they were going to "go get it" whereas our guys were "waiting for it to come to them". Again, someone who is watching this team...are we SOFT?

VERY Pathetic performance tonight. We had the lead, played lax and lost. App State tightened up on D, had some steals and Thomas took over. ASU had their hands up, very energetic and wanted it more. We looked like we just woke up.
Our lineup is taller and there is NO REASON to get outrebounded by them - SIMPSON get mean and go after it - WE ARE SOFT and have no grit. Hopkins looked like he was playing a pick up game on a Sunday afternoon - I am very afraid we have another uncontrolled player on our hands with no discipline. We should have won this game easily.

Why don't we just repaste the posts from the last 6 years and just save ourselves the trouble?

San Diego, Appalachian State... Look out for Navy! Good thing we don't play Duncanville or Dunbar this year.

I have no idea what happened in the game but I'm guessing B-Hop's turnover over/under was around 8???
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

I'm another one of the poor souls who was in attendance tonight like I always am. The team played from the start with no fire in their bellies, which could have been left over from the Wake disappointment. But they knew this was a must game. A home game against inferior talent.

The team is absolutely leaderless. Castro is the closest thing we have to a leader. I had hoped that Bhop would fill that roll, but when you are more interested in your dribbling skills and errant passing, that is not going to happen.

Our defense, and I use the term extremely loosely, was a virtual non-event, which to me translates to desire (or lack thereof) with the athletes and quickness we have on this team.

Dement got out coached (as usual). A totally lackluster effort which may cost us any post-season action, and ultimately may cost Dement his job.

I hope they turn it around in the Purdue Classic. Surely tonight is a wake up call that anyone should recognize.

In a word....disgusting.
