I don't see Dayton getting into our conference. They are too close to Cincinnati and would encroach on their recruiting ground. They don't add any recruiting grounds or new viewership to our conference that Cincinnati doesn't already add. Cincinnati is a major power in our conference that we don't want to [deleted] off by adding a team right next to them. VCU would be interesting since its a new area and they've made the tourney the past 6 years.

This isn't football. We don't need recruiting grounds and new viewers are negligible for all schools. This is about elevating the play within the league.

I worry about Dayton after they lose Miller. Wichita makes sense, so does VCU but I'd almost rather have St Louis than Dayton. Maybe go West ?

I vote for UNLV for all the obvious reasons, which of course have nothing to do with the actual state of their program. . . but still. . .

I do not see that as a negative. It would be a Conference game we could win and not being P5 it does not matter who we play in football. We just need teams we can beat. And it is a great road trip.
