poor Bobby. He should try coaching at SMU. Our lack of support might put him over the edge.

With 35k on campus students, their relative level of support is actually worse than ours. Also TT is the only game in town, no Mavs, Cowboys, etc.

Kudos to Kevin Blackistone. He's the first member of thee media in recent memory who has NOT joined the Bobby Knight kiss-up party. Hats off to Blackistone for putting it like it is -- Knight is a pouting, whining, miserable human being.

A miserable human being who's purchased around 500 tickets for Dallas childrens' charities to attend the TTU/Iowa game.

Agreed that Coach needs to learn that lecturing West Texans is a terrible way to get them to do what you want. I would, however, stop myself before lecuring another school about bball attendance if I were an SMU fan.

PS: Tech has about 30k students, not 35k+.

Sorry, Wreck Em. Don't even go there. I am glad that Knight has done some good for charity, but don't try to defend him in Dallas. He is just a big bully who people make fun of.

I would argue with you until we were blue in the face r&b, but I think we both are pretty set in our opinion.

No doubt he is overbearing and highly egotistical, but the man has done far more good in his career than bad. Again, in my opinion.

Good win for the Ponies today - you guys keep making our loss in Dallas look better and better.

I wasn't questioning Tech's attendance (I actually like the fans out there quite a bit -- fun school to watch football and hoops at), and I'm certainly not dumb enough to question his coaching resumé. Just saying that I'm tired of his act. It was amusing for a little while, but that "while" ended about 20 years ago.

Again, I like Tech and its fans, more or less. Good luck the rest of the way .... despite your coach.
