Get Sterling Brown the Ball!

Postby Wild Mustang » Sat Dec 31, 2016 10:23 am

We need to make more of an effort to get Sterling Brown more touches. Good things happen when Sterling touches the ball.

Sterling can do everything
+ handles the ball well, few turnovers
+ gets his teammates involved in the offense
+ understands the offense
+ can drive and dish
+ can finish on the alley oop
+ gets his shot anytime
+ takes the ball to the basket
+ shoots a good percentage from the free throw line, the 3 point line, and inside the arc
+ can lead the break or finish on the counter after a steal
+ locks down the guy he is guarding on defense
+ gets steals
+ gets rebounds

Agreed.

Sterling to B. Moore and Semi should happen frequently.

If Wilson was still on the team he would get the ball to Sterling.

I was hoping Sterling would be a leader on this team but he's really more of a "glue guy." I agree that he has the skills to be a big-time star if we can find a way to get him going, though.

Hopefully Sterling can find his shot in the second half today.

Lebo can't have much longer at ECU. They have gone many years without any sign of progress.

ECU has some talent but they just play stiff and mechanical. Also, don't play with much energy.

Kinda like RoboDoh's SMU teams. Everybody playing scared and stiff.... Afraid to make a mistake and get benched.
