Pathetic turnout by the so-called mob and students today. It's a good thing security and the ushers were allowing people in the nosebleed areas... To come and sit in the student section.

It's been pretty quiet at Moody the past two games. I know students aren't in class, but it hasn't been very loud. The turn has been pretty good and it's not bad crowd noise just not near Moody level past 2-3 years. I think I've only heard one decently loud SMU chant and not much else. Some people around me and I try to get loud at times but the students that have shown up have been on their phones and barley cheer. Those people are right on the court.

I really hope the Mob and the rest of us fans get some SMU chants and make some noise when on D when we play UConn and especially UH

I guess I should have prefaced my post with I am aware students are on break. But channel surfing many college games throughout the day and this evening, I guess SMU students are the only ones that have left for vacation. The turnout of 100 students or whatever it was, is pathetic... I don't care how you guys try to spin it.

First day of classes for Spring semester is actually January 23. Fortunately rush will be going on when we play UConn and Houston so the student section should be well attended.

Haven't the fraternities in the past scheduled events during the games that have kept the kids from attending?

That only occurred before they allowed beer and wine to be sold at Moody. Proper motivation don't you know

I had to give my tickets to friends yesterday, but on the TV broadcast they said the coaches had commented on how quiet the crowds have been this year.

A tip of the hat to those commentators.
They didn't feel the need to blab on and on about random BS or try to coach the teams for the coaches.
There were actually long periods of silence which is great as you can get a bit more of The being there feel.
They were really good.

One of them was the same guy that called the TCU game that everyone complained about
