The stage is set - 8pm CST on the flagship ESPN. Absolute mammoth game in the AAC. No football to get in the way of viewership. Our staff and guys have four days to prep. I think Cincy will move up to #20 or #19 and we will be in the receiving votes category. Big time game at a big time program's place. doesn't get much better. Can't wait.

I think I'll jet down to Florida tomorrow and snap a couple of shirtless selfies. Heck, it's only Monday.

Cinci is really tough to beat up here. Gotta play like they did the first half of Stanford game...and cut out the crappy lazy passes.

@JonRothstein
SMU's winning streak is now at 10 games following today's win over USF. Ponies have been a different team since losing at Boise State.

Better hope we are practicing dealing with the ball pressure.

Not one person on that thread is concerned about us. They are right about attacking the rim against us though.

Cincy's offensive efficiency really sets them apart from past years. And they take care of the ball. They always played good defense.

Our defense improved significantly at the beginning of the win streak, but we have had lackadaisical halves in each of the last two games.

I don't think we will be able to rely on offensive rebounds to win this game. Do we settle for threes or are we able to drive on them will be the key offensively for us.

For Cincy on offense, will our help/amoeba defense limit their 2 pt FG percentage? They also don't shoot threes well, and because of the help, the backside three will be open. Do they hit that shot or not? That is how Michigan buried us.

If anyone gets close to 70 in this game, they win. The only losses by both teams came in the games they gave up 70 points or more.

Hopefully the lackadaisical stretches have been a result of a) playing an opponent the players knew could not actually beat them and b) knowing a) the players just trying to conserve energy with the short bench.

Wish this prime time ESPN game was at Moody.
