Good find, deucetz. Thanks for posting. Another quality guy who is a really good player. June 4th and let's get this going. BTW, everytime I see Ray he looks like he's gotten a little bigger.

Looks like he's well on his way to a college body. It will be interesting to play this interview back in two years comparing then and now, and see how a good strength program is a critical part of the program. Psyched to have him!

Preseason rankings are a total crapshoot, but it's nice to see us getting some love in the post-Semi era

Always nice to get some good press.

I was a bit stunned when I saw "first round" again but then I realized it was last year's results thank goodness.

Some very high expectations there for Wichita St and USC. Add those three games to the two with Cincy, Atlantis and TCU.....our SOS is going to look a whole lot better this year. Now all we need to do is win some of them!

I have a stupid question -- well, series of questions. Gu is on our team next year, right? His twitter handle is @BenBornReadySMU, right? Why is he tweeting about need a grad school deposit, a job, and rent? Isn't that covered by his scholarship? What am I missing?

I didn't see that tweet, but yes he is on the team next year and recently got accepted into grad-school at SMU. It may have something to do with graduating and being off scholarship until he can get enrolled in grad-school, but I am not100% sure and didn't see that tweet. .

Honestly, I would love to see us get into the tourney as a 10 seed and run in an upset position to take pressure off. Bubble team and then win the conference tourney.

I didn't see the tweet either but after following him on Twitter for awhile it sounds like Gu joking around - how am I going to pay rent? A deposit? Work?

Chances are we will see underclassmen attrition next season. Get the players that make this years team the best it can be.

Agreed. If you can add MiKyle Mcintosh 100% do it. You should never turn away proven talent that can start when you have room to make it work.

I don't expect that much attrition from the 2017 class just because they are all Jank's guys unlike the 2016 class, which was much of the opposite. Obviously wouldn't be shocked if one of them did, just because that is how college basketball is and Jank is probably only going to play a 8 man rotation come conference play (maybe a 9th sprinkled in). All of the freshman should get their opportunities though, especially since McMurray is missing the first semester.

I would be surprised if any of the four freshmen left after a season. I think all are extremely talented with a different skill set and they seem like high character kids. Obviously you never know but I'm very optimistic about this group.
