BTW, I wasn't impressed by their band yesterday. I thought they played better songs last year.

I heard the "SMU Sucks" chant and the constant boos, was flipped off, and mean mugged - it was delicious. As far as the crowd goes, just over a 1,000 in my opinion. Because when you add the many basketball team family members sitting across from the Houston bench, it's even a bigger number. I had the pleasure of meeting Shakes' Houston family. Very nice clan. What a great day!

Nobody has ever looked like anything but an idiot and a tool while flipping someone off, especially at a sporting event. I never have gotten that whole deal.

Yeah they didn't much like people wearing blue with SMU lmao.

An old coog lady came up to my group after the game in the concourse as we were minding our own business and says she just wanted to let us know that the refs handed us the game. Then proceeded to shove me as she walked off. class all the way.

Coach speak...one coach understood what the refs were doing and kept driving to the basket picking up plus 1's, the other just blamed the refs.

On the other hand, I did see considerable improvement in the campus, save for the Hoffheinz Pavilion, which could be saved by raising the roof, getting some decent lighting and scoreboard. But, when you stand in a service line for the entire half-time trying to purchase a beer and never make it to the two dozen clowns serving and taking orders before the game re-starts, you got to go out and short 7-11 on Tuesday!

Oh my gosh, you are so right. I watched her some and found her very annoying. I will say a Cougar couple were behind us in the line to pay for parking and they were nice. He was telling us some of the plans for the renovation for hofheinz.
