Thanks for those reports, 50s!

Kudos to Gene Keady for giving credit to SMU. Calling the SMU zone defense "great" was nice to see. It's OK that he was upset with his own team, but at least he pointed out that SMU did some things well.

Nice job by Hopkins and Isham getting on the all-tournament team - has to be a boost for the Ponies' confidence.

Remember when Isham signed, and some people thought all he could do was dunk? Against Texas Tech, he had a huge steal late. Against Wake, he had a huge steal late (although we fell short). Against Appalachian State, he made a great play to steal the ball in the closing minutes, although ASU got it back when Isham fell out of bounds. And he's the one who forced the off-balance shot by Purdue's star (Lowe) in the closing seconds.

Isham's become the team's defensive MVP. He's improved by leaps and bounds since he got to SMU.

God it was great to pick up the Sports Page of today Dallas Morning News and see on the front page...
