Four more years of Wilfong

Postby Mu$tang » Mon Mar 06, 2017 11:33 am

What did Wilfong mean when he said during his Senior Ceremony speech something about the fans need to keep cheering for the Wilfong for the next four years?

Wilfong Jr can be a fan favorite in-waiting.

Just think of all the advantages little Wilf has.

He'll already know things like when to wave the towel and when not to....when he should slide down the bench and when he should slide up, etc. He may be a freshman next year but he'll have a hell of an advantage.

I love Wilfong for his spirit, but what makes me really appreciate him, is how his teammates, this year and last year, loved him and cheered for him. They know what he gives every day. I'd hire that guy to work at my company any day. Period.

Pyle did look like he could hoop a little out there.

Pyle has a nice shot and appears to have some court presence.

You know the team is playing well when you've exhausted all of the positive superlatives, no one is freaking out, and we're discussing the basketball skill of the walkons.

So did the guy that was just as open shooting to win the Dave and Busters gift card.

He was a senior though. I guess that means he would have one more year of eligibility though, right?

Pyle had a nasty airball too. But I went nuts when he dropped the three ball so I can see the fan favorite torch getting passed.
