I can't remember how the ticket thing works. Is it first come first serve or will we get them through SMU?

cincy didn't get an easier seed. I wouldn't want any part of K state right now. And UCLA is much better than Baylor this year.

Ticket requests were supposed to be in by noon today so will depend on demand but expect SMU sold it's allotment in our section

Charles Barkley just predicted that the winner of the Providence/USC game will beat SMU. I hope we stuff it down his throat!

We proved we are the best team in the AAC but the question remains whether our conference is any good. Both SMU and Cincy have to win 1st round games at the very least and someone has to reach the round of 16 for any credibility on a national level

This - just no respect for the conf or us. Need to finally do something that shows we are legit.

Wish our students weren't on break - but many will be back in time to go.

This.

Yes a 6 seed is an insult, when the final BP/RPI rankings come out, we should have been no worse than a four seed. Having said that, playing in Tulsa on a Friday is huge. Close to home, extra day of rest. Yes, we do need to win that first one, but then we could be on a collision course to play Baylor. Dream match up less than a five hour drive from Dallas.

I think we beat either Providence or USC. We are a totally different team that USC
barely beat early in the year on their floor. We are much better now and I think we
will beat them by at least 10 points.

As for Providence - they are 20-12 on the year. They only beat Memphis by 12 on the Friars
home floor. I think we can handle them also. I would say we beat them by 10+ pts.

I also think we can handle Baylor and I would look forward to playing Duke which would
give us some national recognition because everyone is so hung up on Duke, and if we were
to beat them, we could gain some prestige. Don't know whether we would win or not
but I think it would be a good game.

The main thing is to stay out of foul trouble. Still would have liked to have been a 4 or 5 seed. But it is what it is. Beat Providence or USC.

I think most everyone loves the venue and the path.

The issue, however, is the disrespect. SMU should have been a 4 seed. A 6 seed is a joke. But at least its a good location and path.
