Very happy to hear the scheduling news. Divisions would have been terrible.

Good news on both the vote and the scheduling. Onward and upward!

Someone good has to play the bottom teams twice. It can easily be done where each of the top 6 teams (however chosen/projected) plays each of the other top 6 teams twice, but then they will also have to play 2 against two of the bottom six teams.

I think a good way would be for teams projected 1-2 to play teams 7-8 twice, teams 3-4 to play teams 9-10 twice and teams 5-6 to play 11-12 twice.

Another way could be to have 2 of the top 6 play teams 7/12 twice, 2 of the top 6 play 8/11 twice and 2 of the top 6 play 9/10 twice.

They could use the coaches preseason vote to set the matchups

I don't want anything ever determined by the coaches poll. #TheWorst

I suspect they will have already announced the schedule before the coaches preseason poll, but certainly they can come up with a number of ways to rank the teams to then come up with the schedule.

I was kidding about the coaches poll, but yeah they should have a good idea of the expected pecking order in the summer when they make the schedule.

They can use LA Mustang's preseason rankings:

1. Wichita St
2. SMU
3. Cincinnati
4. UCF
5. Houston
6. Temple
7. UConn
8. Memphis
9. Tulsa
10. ECU
11. Tulane
12. USF

If they use your rankings then according to my suggested approach our four singles would be Tulsa, ecu, Tulane and usf.

I wish instead of four single games, we could just avoid playing USF and Tulane in general

The only way that happens is they or we join a new conference.
