Played like we havent been there before

in the last 10 minutes. Played tight, scared, timid, and it showed.

USC had a lot to do with the team not playing better.

Agree, but outside of Semi (and Shake for the last 4 minutes and Sterlng for the first 16 minutes) alot of the guys struggled for large stretches of the game.

The coaching was fine-USC just had a better deeper bench and we got tired and it showed when a lot of our shots in the second half fell short. I personally would have had Sterling take the last shot since he is so clutch usually with his shot in those situations.

OR.... we never adjusted properly to their zone defenses. Put Semi at the high post and problem solved

Semi played some high post and struggled in the second half because they were so much taller.

Get him the ball there and then make that assumption. Give him the damn ball. Get him off the baseline

Or you could be wrong like your other assumptions during the week. Jim is making a valid statement.

USC played great. They are a tough team that is well coached and hard to rattle. What is ironic is that is how I would describe our team. The last 10-5 minutes of the game, our team just played tight. Fouls had something to do with it. The zone was frustrating to our guys and that showed. Lot of really bad possessions with a lack a ball movement that resulted in bad shots at the end of the shot clock. Watched this team all season and never saw that many bad possessions in a game since December. USC's size and athleticism make them a tough match up for us. There is a reason we lost 5 games this year, two of them to USC. One thing I didn't get was the assumption that this would be a W

Sometimes when you team is playing tight you call a time out. yet we took three to the house. They roll over to next year, right?

And I think some predicted an easy win.

I know I thought we should win. Assuming? Maybe a little. But I never thought it would be easy. We handled adversity so well this year; I think I took it for granted.

Ben Moore is a key to ball movement-otherwise we are just throwing the ball around the perimeter. when he goes out ball movement becomes stagnant
