Absolutely need Semi to return for senior season

Next season and sustainability of program momentum depend on it. We would be so mediocre without him. A group of solid guards ain't gonna cut it. Need the BEAST back. Losing Sterling, Ben Moore, and Semi all at once would be detrimental to the team.

I hope he stays. I mean he sat out for two full seasons, just to play for a year? And he was really turning it on in the 2nd half of the season. He will be in the mix for national player of the year next season if he returns. He's projected right now as a 2nd rounder I think? Should take another season to polish up his game and become a solid 1st rounder. And going out after a heartbreaker to USC would be a shame after how he carried the team on his shoulders. Semi deserves better.

Second round is not guarantee money contracts., I don't think so no real reason to come out.

Now we have to sign a center if we have not that can let him play stretch 4 vs u deer sized center.

Good point. I agree we would be better next season if Semi returns.

Semi is a first rounder according to Draft Express, although end of 1st.

If you look a multiple mock drafts he is between 26-40 in alot of them and a few aren't updated. The prospects in this draft from about 23-38 are pretty interchangeable depending on the teams need or preference. I think if Semi declares and performs well/measures well he will be told he is a fringe late first rounder-early second rounder. With that Semi will have to decide what he think is best for him.

Semi should take a while to decide rather than an emotional choice if made now. But whereas I was sure he would leave before, it now would not surprise me if he stayed. The hurt he displayed yesterday may inspire him to try and go further with this team. He is smart enough to make the right decision regardless of what it is.

I think shake returning I'd pretty much a given at this point. Whole lot more to prove

Can't you go pro then see what the actual NBA scouts think when you workout in front of them and then comeback to play college ball if you see you are not rated very high? I think Rodney Purvis did that last year and returned toUConn. Just another option to look at for him.

Not here it isn't. And in other news, watching college hoops suddenly isn't as much fun.

You forgot about Gu. If he also goes pro, we are really screwed.
