The most frustrating thing

For the second year in a row our season ends way too soon because of NCAA sanctions handed down to a program for taking an online course that ultimately meant nothing for a recruit who is no longer with the program. And because the NCAA had a vendetta again our head coach. Meanwhile, two programs, one that that created fake classes for years for athletes and one who had documented parties for recruits with postitutes, drugs and booze on the current HC's watch still conducts business as usual with no sanctions. Both made it to the weekend and one made it to the second week. All because they supposedly committed their acts before the "rules changed." Very convenient.

Also, a school who's administration enabled arguably the second most damning scandal in NCAA history still goes unpunished while their basketball coach who runs as dirty as anyone in college basketball reaches the sweet 16. It's justice because their fans deserve some positive news. Eff the NCAA.

Very well said - and it is totally crazy when laid all out like that. Its like the NCAA must have literally no shame, to have come to those conclusions independently over time. That organization is completely without any kind of moral compass - and is totally corrupted through and through by the almighty dollar. Total joke.

the season ended way too soon because we got out-played and out-coached by a more composed team. the end.

I thought our season ended because we had a 10 point lead with 12 minutes to go and went 4 of 13 - had no answer for the 2 - 3 zone we faced.

I'm pretty sure the NCAA would have let us through to the next round if we had won.

Yes, we lost the game fair and square but you're kidding yourself if you think we would not have been much more capable with a couple more bench players which we were deprived of because of limited scholarships. As for last year - Nic, MK and Jordan didn't have a chance. The post season ban along with the scholarship restriction is about as harsh of a penalty as the NCAA will hand down to bball program. One of the two would have been appropriate but not both.

lack of depth was clearly a big factor when Ben got 4. Think LA is suggesting that goes back to the severe scholly reductions. On top of the ban. Yeah I'd say we took it in the shorts while others will skate.

The NCAA [deleted] and the loss are two separate issues. But some great insight there folks...

lack of depth and seeding are legitimate NCAA gripes. Don't disagree the deeper more composed and probably better team (with Boatwright) won.

Yes, we suffered from a lack of depth. Our starting five scored all our points. They looked tired in the last 10 minutes, which makes it puzzling that we left three timeouts on the board. They would have been much better rested if we utilized those time outs, which during the telecasts generally last about an hour and a half.

I got really tired of hearing from every announcer about our "academic scandal." UNC had an academic scandal. We did not.

Obviously it was going to be a difficult road without Jarrey but it sure is depressing seeing a 4, 7, and 8 remaining in what would have been left in our region

Valid observations by LA. Who could disagree? Laid out that way it is simply absurd.

But at the end of the day you go with who you got.

At the end of the day USC had better.
