Interesting to note the comparison to us in 2014 and UCF this season. They've had a really strong year with signature wins over UConn and Cincy. Now they are making a run in the NIT and they have a packed house in their home quarterfinal game where they are rolling. The atmosphere there is great and it seems to be energizing their fan base. Hopefully this is a start to a strong program. It would be great for the AAC.

UCF and USF are sleeping giants. If Texas can have 5 P5 universities and California 4, Florida can support more than 3.

This is definitely great for the conference.

The sad thing is USF should already be there since they had years of BCS money and playing the original Big East teams.

Was sitting at a bar (end of Long Island) watching the game on the screen behind the bar and the people watching were like..... WHO ARE THESE GUYS?

I had to chuckle.
