This would be awesome. He looks to be a graduate transfer. If he has NBA aspirations, then hopefully he would work hard.

Another good resource with potential graduate transfer candidates: http://georgiabasketballblog.com/possib ... hot-board/

Why is he possibly in play, lol? Bc of the release or is there any connection to SMU.

I was hoping Dwight Colbey would be the one Transferring (he would be a grad transfer)

Bragg would be a great fit for a regular transfer, on paper. Lots of baggage and drama surrounding him. Think he had a battery charge (that got dismissed), then arrested with drugs paraphanilla. If we were interested though, I think Jank could get the true story out of Bill Self.

Looks like Memphis has plenty of room on its baggage cart

Lol they need immediate help.

If he is a good kid (just had a bad streak of luck) and really wants to refocus with a fresh start then I would 100% want him. He is a major talent, top 30 player out of HS. I read he had near a 3.0GPA.

Seems like we should have some movement on the grad transfer market soon. Any new SMU rumors/possibilities?

Sources and people are pretty silent on the whole thing. Especially grad-transfers. Either we are still waiting for certain GT's to maybe decide to transfer or are still inquiring on multiple. Haven't heard a peep when I ask if we are more than surface level interested in Sean Obi. I know a few like Kanter we aren't involved with.

As far as regular transfers we have multiple people we like. Names will come out soon.

Any of those names raise eyebrows in a good way?

Or freshman options?

Things are starting to move in the transfer market. I bet we get a better idea where we are looking by the end of the week

UH just got 2 big men last night both eligible immediately. One 6'7 240 lb PF from LIU-Brooklyn who averaged 9.2 points, 8.7 rbs and 62.4 shooting% and then a 6'10 250 lb C from San Jacinto JC (had previously committed to UH out of high school) and averaged 5.7 points, 6 rebounds and shot 57.6%
