Got to close him during his visit or within the days following his visit or he will end up at Oregon. Would be a huge get for SMU.

Good weather today for hosting someone from Canada, sunny and warm, but not too hot. Still kind of chilly and grey up in that area.

I noticed in one of his last twitter posts he used the word "y'all" That's a Canadian who wants to get here as fast as he can to become a Texan.

Updated on the front page too, but copying it here as well (updated grad-transfer list) we still have one spot to fill in the 2017 class. Need a big man a (4/5). Grad-Transfer would still be nice, but the list has gotten thin. Will be interesting to see if we jump in somewhere. JuCo and Freshman Big man list is super thin as well. I like that we haven't settled though.

Grad-Transfer (F/C):
MiKyle McIntosh- Illinois State 6'7 (12PPG 5.6RPG) (No list yet, tons of interest, hearing Wiscy among other B1G schools)(Wouldn't be surprised to see us make a run)
Sean Obi- Duke 6’9 (Didn’t play much);11.4PPG and 9.3 PPG as frosh at Rice. (Maryland)
Khris Lane- Longwoord (6’6-6'7 F- 17PPG 7RPG) (VCU)
Jack Whitman- William & Mary 6’9 (10PPG 5.5RPG) (Kansas)
Kerem Kanter- Green Bay-6’10 (11PPG 6.3RPG) (Xavier)
Hans Brase- Princeton (6’9- 11.5PPG 7.5RPG in 2015-16) (Final List: Nebraska, G'Town, GT, ISU, Richmond)
Roschon Prince LBSU (6’6-235-9.5PPG 7.0RPG) (Detroit)
Chris Sengfelder- Fordham 6’7 (12PPG 5RPG)-(Boise)
Kameron Rooks- Cal 7'1 ( 5ppg 4.5rpg) (Asked for Release)
Mark Donnal- Michigan- 6'9 (Career 5.4PPG/2.8RPG) (Clemson)
Darien Williams- 6'9 St. John's (3PPG 3.5RPG) (Visiting Pitt & Nevada)
Ahmed Hamdy- 6'9 VCU (TCU)
Jeff Beverly- 6'6 UTSA (16PPG 6RPG) (ISU Lean)
Akoy Agau- 6'8 G'Town (4.5PPG 4.5RPG-15mins)

Regular Transfer (F/C):
Chase Jeter- Duke (6'10) So. (West Coast schools only)
Carlton Bragg- KU-6'10 (6.1PPG 5.3RPG) (ILL, Cincy, ASU)
Isiaha Mike- Duquesne 6'8 (11PPG 5.8RPG) (SMU)
Josh Nebo- St. Francis (6'9, So.- 12PPG, 8.3RPG & 2.6 BPG) From Houston, NEC Defensive POY (A&M)
Dante Williams- K-State 7’0 (Mid-year-transfer) From DFW (No SMU Interest)
Evan Maxwell C, Kansas (6-10, 245). 10 PPG, 5 RPG (at liberty 2015-16)
Steven Enoch- UConn 6'11 (Louisville)

Freshman:
Garrison Brooks (UNC)
Kenny Wooten (Oregon)
Mamoudou Diarra (Visited Cincy and UConn)(Wants to play the 3)

You like that we haven't settled? We are nowhere on that transfer list for immediate players. It is high time to settle.

I'm not saying I don't want us to get involved with some of these names (which there is still time for us to do for several of the better ones). Just saying glad we didn't settle for a guy who wastes a scholarship to give us 15mins a game of journeyman minutes or gets hurt again. Would rather us just eat the scholarship for sanctions.

Trust the process. The staff knows what they are doing. Not time to settle just yet.

If SMU wants to get in the Grad-Transfer market outside of MiKyle Mcintosh they have an opportunity.

With Mark Donnal (Michigan Grad-transfer) committing to Clemson it gives SMU potentially a chance with Jack Whitman (who UNC cancelled his visit and Clemson will likely do the same) which leaves only GW from his initial list (he might want to stay on the coast though). Also, gives SMU an in with Hans Brase, if they want, since he was supposed to visit Clemson this weekend and has only visited Nebraska so far. Rooks for Cal also asked for Release yesterday.

Rooks' release was granted yesterday-I wonder if he still has contacts in Dallas from his father's stints with the Mavericks

I still don't see why SMU hasn't taken a closer look at the NTSU kid-he was pretty productive when healthy. Now it may be a medical issue but we are literally running out of alternatives
