Ben is athletic enough for the NBA but I don't think he is a good enough shooter to make it as an undersized 4. If he want's to play professionally Europe is probably where he will end up. Sterling is going to play in the NBA and I wouldn't be surprised if he turns into one of those really solid role players on a championship level team. Great shooter, good length, good defense, good handles, NBA blood line, and probably the single best person you could ask for to vouch for him.

SMUstang07 wrote:TBH his stats looked a little underwhelming after seeing that tweet. 8pts on 1-6 shooting. Had 10 boards and 4 assists but 4-5 fouls and 4 turnovers too.

I disagree, I like his other stat lines. I feel coaches will love his junk yard mentality. Many players don't know what to do if they aren't scoring or handling the ball.

for point of comparison-64 players competed (8 teams x 8 players per team)

coincidentally Ben Moore and Sterling Brown finished exactly tied for 34th in scoring at 11.3 ppg

https://media.wix.com/ugd/9dbc28_fc72a6 ... 2e8324.pdf

Ben Moore had a great tournament in rebounding finishing 5th at 8.7 rpg

Sterling Brown finished a very respectable 19th in rebounding-pretty great for a Guard

WOW! Ben Moore finished No. 1 in FG shooting at .813%. Seems like he should have made an All Tournament team with his stats. I guess its all about the points in these tournaments. Sterling Brown was 26th in FG% at .500% (he had an off first game of 1 for 6)

Sterling Brown was 10th in assists with 4.0 apg and Ben Moore was 16th at 3.3 apg

Sterling Brown was an incredible 14 for 15 from the Free Throw Line (.933%) - Ben Moore hit 67%

Ben Moore and Sterling Brown again tied for 5th in steals with 2.0 spg

Ben Moore also was No. 1 in blocks per game at 2.0 per game

Ben Moore especially got screwed

No. 1 in FG%
No. 1 in Blocks
No. 5 in Rebounding
No. 5 in Steals
No. 16 in Assists

that's a pretty damn good showing by Ben Moore-wished he was an .813% shooter at SMU
