Shaka seems to be putting together a very nice class down in Austin for a 22 loss team which Scout currently has ranked as the #3 class in the country.

Recruiting has never been the issue with Shaka. He out recruited everyone in the A10 at VCU and it covered up his inability to coach. He can't get away with that in the B12.

Sometimes I think I'm posting to myself on here but oh well.

Wilson picked St John's which caused a brief meltdown at the boneyard then someone reminded them......

UConn to play Oregon on Thanksgiving Day. Great opportunity for the conference to get another quality OOC win.

Cornell grad transfer David Onuorah (6'9" PF) has committed to UConn. He only played one game last season.

I bet he does. He wanted to go to UConn all along.

UConn just picked up James Akinjo, a top 75 pg who just won the MVP of the Peach Jam.

We are in the running for a couple more top 100 players - it looks like Ollie is going to put a excellent class together.

Ollie seems to have changed his focus a bit. Instead of swinging and missing on top 20 guys, he is landing top 100 guys who fit the traditional UConn mold.

I wouldn't give up on Ollie yet. He is a fighter and the NC proves he has some degree of talent in coaching.

The AAC needs UCONN to be good, so I'm rooting for you. . . except in conference play against us.
