Bracketology 2018

Postby PonyBait » Tue Apr 04, 2017 3:30 pm

It's never too early to look ahead. Joe Lunardi threw us some love and projected us as a 4 seed in 2018 playing against UT-Arlington in round one.

The bad news: we would be playing in San Diego. CAN WE PLEASE GO NOWHERE NEAR SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA DURING TOURNEY TIME?!?!

Yes a big goal for next season is to be a high enough seed so we get placed at the first and second round site at the AAC in Dallas.

Getting a dallas draw should be the goal.

If Semi doesn't return I think we are a bubble team because we will struggle against pretty much all high level opponents. We will win some but probably struggle against most on the road or on neutral.

I agree unless we get another stud transfer.
I miss Troy Matthews.

I remember the same comments last year after losing Nic, Markus, and Tolbert. Yes we could use a big but we will be ok.

I don't understand how anyone could think his.... have y'all seen who we have next year? 4 absolutely stud freshmen and then two killer transfers. And we have two scholarships left to give.. we will be just fine next year, better than fine! No way we are a bubble team..
