The best thing this staff could do is get a tall rim protector that can rebound & defend. That would likely help bring Semi back. Right now we have two unproven freshman at the Big position.

I personally feel that if Semi can be a first rounder this year, it would be best for Jank & SMU basketball. In addition to Sterling making a roster. Jank doesn't have a history of sending players to the NBA, and that is one thing he will need to continue to get high quality recruits that have NBA aspirations.

The only way Semi gets projected higher next year is if he develops the skills that will allow him to be a better SF--and that's just getting more athletic and quicker. Either way, I think it will be a win-win for both parties.

Well said. Couldn't agree more. Semi going in the first round would be a win. If he isn't a guaranteed first rounder good chance he will be back and that is a win, along with maybe being a 1st rounder the following year, but at least being drafted where he would be this year, which is another win.

Also, once Shake likely becomes a first rounder next year or after his senior year that will help recruiting alot too.

Our goal should be to be the highest seeded Texas team next year. If we do that, then we will be playing in Dallas the first weekend.

I swear, if we get sent to Idaho instead of the AAC...
