The friendly statement came from the kids...most likely composed by a soon to be named agent for a soon to be draftee. The tweet came from dad after a few young scotches.

yeah....looks like you are correct. I just got to thinking that "I deserved more" referred to Pop's lessening role under Tubby. Whoever it came from it sure doesn't make the family your "ideal" recruits. It will be really interesting to see what coach barters his program for this clusterf***.

Looks like Tubby needs to blow that mess up and start fresh with a roster of "his guys". That team clearly quit on him when they visited Moody

Not hard to figure out what happened here. Tubby demoted "assistant coach" dad and now all 3 are taking their ball and going home. Thus the middle finger quote from junior. That probably explains the terrible body language all season from Dedric. Good for Tubby - might as well start the rebuild now.

For two guys who think they are NBA players, sitting out a year to play another season in college is very puzzling, but whatever. I still think Memphis is better without them.

Kansas had it's share of off court issues this past year so I'm not too shocked. Did Self hire pop-pops?

My guess would be that Self had a pretty heavy "come to jesus" talk with the two and laid out the expectations very clearly. I can see it working quite well for all concerned.
