@JonRothstein
Arizona will host UConn on 12/21/17 in Tucson, per a source. Start of home-and-home series. Return game in Connecticut in December of 2018.

No P5 conference is going to do a challenge against the AAC in hoops. Too much risk and no reward

The only thing I can think of is if they push the exposure angle - there has got to be a school who wants more exposure in Texas. A couple of years ago Arkansas and Rutgers played a home-and-home in football (which somehow Arkansas managed to lose) and I tend to believe that was due largely do the idea that Arky wanted more exposure in the Northeast - this was before RU joined the Big 10. Is there an Iowa or Wazzou or someone out there that need more exposure in our neck of the woods?

Why would we want a home and home series with Wazzou? That wouldn't move the needle one bit

This series was announced in 2014 when UConn was coming off a National Title. It's not like Arizona just agreed to it this year after UConn's worst season in 30 years.
