I always enjoyed watching Cannen play. He was kind of sneaky good. Most of the time, he looked like he'd just woken up from a nap and/or was going at about 3/4 speed, then you'd look up at the scoreboard and he'd have 11 pts, 7 rebounds, a block, and an assist or 2 with 10 minutes to go in the game.

Loved watching that guy. He was smart - and he played smart (almost all of the time).

Wasn't he inbounding the ball on that errant pass? Hard to wait for a foul from the sideline.

Nope Sterling threw it in to Cannen and he threw it away trying to throw it to Manuel who was open just an awful pass.

Correct. That was usually Ben Moore's spot in press break, but LB subbed in Cannen because he was a better free throw shooter.

Ryan was initially open (although looking back he shouldn't have passed it in the first place because his FT % was way higher that Ryan's), but Cannen's pass was insanely slow and the UCLA guy closed on it. It was destined to be intercepted. Felt like it was happening in slow motion.

More than the goaltending call, this is the play that keeps me awake at night. Cannen holds on and gets fouled we win. There never had to be a goaltending call. I loved Cannen but that was boneheaded.

That was my feeling at the time. When Brown called a time out after that play, I noted Cunningham stood in the back of the group realizing what he had just done. I felt so sorry for the guy.

Archie lists: UT, LSU, Wichita St, Illinois and UF as recruiting him the hardest. I am all aboard the Kyler Edwards train (as I said before), if we miss on our home run targets.
