Can't say there hasn't been some bulletin board material in the offseason.
Has SMU fifth, behind WSU, Cincy, UCF and UCONN.
Crazy.

Were picked 4th and 5th in some last season too. Alot of the times these pre-season power rankings guys don't know much about the transfers you recently added like Agau and McMurray.

Having UConn 4th is laughable. No reason at all they should be predicted there. I would be surprised if UConn got 6th (Think UH, Temple and UCF are all better/should be better) next year. UCF ahead of us I disagree with too, but at least is somewhat feasible.

The Jank leaving comment annoys me too. He turned down Okie State this past offseason.. he isn't shopping. I doubt he would leave but for a REAL big job.

I know we lost 3 starters but UConn lost some quality recruits.

Straight up disrespectful to the reigning AAC Regular Season and Tournament Champs.

All these bozos know is that we lost three guys to the NBA and we are only returning three guys. Nothing written pre-season will surprise me. Frankly....it could happen except for the UCONN part. The older I get the better they were.

I see Wichita and Cincy as substantially ahead of the field right now.
After that, next level we share with UCF and Temple.
After that I see Houston, Tulsa, UCONN, Memphis and MAYBE Tulane checking in.

USF and ECU will fight it out for dead last.

That's pre-season. I'll update during OOC.

(and after McMurray's face comes off the milk carton and onto the roster)

They also have Ollie as a coach

SMU over the last half century - 3-6 in NCAA Games

Ollie as coach - 7-1 & an National Championship. Also, another NC as a assistant coach.

2-7 vs little ole SMU and losing by an avg of 14. 20+ at Moody. That's not embarrassing though. Losing to Wagner and ECU is. It's a what have you done for me lately job. Lately, Ollie has done nothing but lose to worse than subpar teams. For a "blue blood", that is unacceptable no matter how many players are injured.

The older you get...the better you were.

You should hope next years new coach has a run like that one too.

I really wish our UConn friend would change his screen name. I always think Jerry Sandusky joined the site and it aggravates me.
