Proud of him and Sterling. Both showed how valuable they were during summer league and both got good Rookie contracts that should give them the opportunity to have good NBA careers.

They just mentioned on the Mavs/Celtics broadcast that the Celts were on the verge of signing Semi to a multi year deal.

Semi, Sterling and Ben all exceeding expectations. This bodes well for Shake and Jarrey. Go Mustangs!

Wish the Mavs could have made a move to get into the second round to grab Brown. That didn't seem to difficult to do. Love the Mavs getting Motley though.

Yeah, Motley's looking pretty solid. He's a starter on the all-ugly team too.

Knowing essentially nothing about NBA contracts. . . does this mean he is pretty much a lock to make the Celts roster?

I was looking at how much his contract was worth and couldn't find it anywhere

It sure seems like a lock now. That's the sentiment among Celtics beat writers and bloggers.

His first 2 years are guaranteed. He's going to make this year's roster at least.

“I think what he’s doing translates [to NBA play],” Celtics head coach Brad Stevens said of Ojeleye, per CelticsBlog. “His flexibility defensively is going to be enormous. I think that he will compete to be one of our better defenders right out the gate.”
