Everett Ray: 3.3PPG 10.3RPG (5-10)FG

Things that stood out to me were: 1) Ray's amazing rebounding.(17 rebounds tonight); 2) Gu's overall play; 3) Chargois scoring ability in the 2 games; 4) Foster seems ready to step into the #2 option.

Combined stats for four freshmen are roughly 25 points and 20 rebounds per game. Production in that range all season would mean a hell of a recruiting class.

I agree, sadderbudweiser. I know it is silly to make assumptions off of three scrimmages that we couldn't see but this was against better talent than the freshman faced last year for sure. I think Ray will be a nice guy off the bench who can come in and clean up the glass. Hopefully, he can convert a few of those offensive rebounds into easy putbacks.

I think a lot of us discounted Chargois because of his similar build to Harry, which is unfair. I believe he is quicker and more athletic with a similar skill set. He might already be one of our better outside shooters on the team. I believe he will be a great backup for Agau.

Landrum showed he can score in a couple of these games. I loved seeing him go 3-of-6 from deep yesterday. if he can make defenders respect his outside shot, he should be able to penetrate and create of the dribble, and he can finish around the rim very well for a guy his size.

I still think Will D is too good to keep off the floor. He didn't do much on this trip but he was our highest rated freshman for a reason.

I see these guys as four year guys with entry level skills a bit above what Ben Moore and Sterling came in with. That really excites me. If true, when you combine that with a program that fosters improvement..... we good!

The short clips posted show a similar offensive set to last year. These guys seem to fit.

It will be interesting to see what each brings defensively.

I have heard Ray and Landrum pride themselves on the defensive end and look real good defensively. Chargois defense will likely be one of the biggest questions for him, seems he is the most developed offensive player of the group. Douglas haven't heard much but has the makings to be a good defender. Real good core class to build around, if Mike can turn into the star the staff thinks he can be and we can add a Kaden Archie we would be in great position for next several years.
